Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has worked with UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone to improve his quarterback mechanics this offseason; Brady Quinn apologized for comments he made about Tim Tebow in-season during the offseason; and former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Tyler Hansenhas spent time (via Buffzone) with those quarterbacks when he works out at Loren Landow's camp, the same one that ran the Broncos' offseason workouts during the lockout.
See, while teammate Ryan Miller is at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis getting poked, prodded and interviewed, Hansen isn't there since he failed to receive an invite to the event. He's looking at the seventh round or undrafted free agency. Who knows, maybe Quinn re-signs with the Broncos and Hansen is brought in as an UDFA -- it's not out of the realm of possibilities.
Hansen is looking to be the first Colorado Buffaloes quarterback to be drafted since Koy Detmer went off the board in the 1997 draft to the Philadelphia Eagles.
In an entirely unscientific ESPN poll, but one that had nearly 100,000 votes and is probably accurate, the great people of Colorado believe that Jeremy Lin and Carmelo Anthony won't get used to each other. Graphic below:
The Nuggets receive a straight 'C' with their current 18-15 record. Robson sums up why the Nuggets are such a middle of the road team right now:
The Nuggets have lacked mental toughness and defensive intensity while plummeting in the standings after a 14-5 start.
While he likes what Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari have done this season, Robson wants Arron Afflalo and Nene, who signed big free agent contracts, to step things up. If Nene isn't 100 percent for the rest of the season, his struggles might continue.
The Colorado St. Rams picked up a huge victory on Tuesday night at Moby Arena when they beat the No. 18 New Mexico Lobos, 71-63. The Rams snapped the Lobos' seven-game winning streak that had culminated on Saturday with a 65-45 victory over the UNLV Rebels.
When the time clock hit zeros across the board, the fans, of course, stormed the court. Check it out below:
